What a gem! The Salty Pearl Tiki Hut in Alligator Point is pure coastal bliss. Right on the marina, the vibe is so relaxed—think cold drinks, friendly staff, and boats drifting by. Perfect for chilling with friends or family under the open-air hut, soaking in that Old Florida charm. Can’t wait to come back for the live music on Saturday nights! Five stars for this waterfront treasure.
The Hood be tiki! You must visit, very much a place to be when visiting Alligator Point. The people are friendly, heck The Hood found new relatives here. Distant cousins ( not really related) but nonetheless family! Price’s good! I will highly recommend coming!
We explored the Forgotten Coast and ventured to Alligator Point around lunch time on a Saturday. This apparently seems to be the only place at Alligator Point for drinks and food. Older gent who worked the bar and took our orders was very nice and informative. Nice little hut bar with seating all around it. Food was cooked in a food truck parked close to the hut. Seems to be very pet friendly, water bowls all around. We sat at one of the outdoor picnic tables. Great atmosphere but food was average. The calamari starter was deep fried too long and tasted very crunchy and burnt. The grilled shrimp was well seasoned and tasted delicious. Crab cakes were moist and consisted of crab meat with very little fillers, the way it should be. Would recommend getting food grilled since the oil is used for all things fried.
If you find yourself on Alligator Point, you have to try the Tiki Bar. The drinks are mixed strong. The menu is a little limited, but the food is good. The crowd ranges from locals to out of state visitors. Definitely a great place to kick back on the water and people watch. Cheers.
From Greenville, SC, visiting family. We stopped here during our day on the water and our whole family loved it!!! All the adults got drinks that were very refreshing. The Grilled Shrimp plate was literally amazing and so flavorful! The Tater Tots were delicious and HUGE, just like the menu said. Seriously, it's definitely worth a stop!
If you're ever in alligator point, you gotta stop here! Such friendly staff and great drinks. I recommend the frozen coconut mojito with fresh mint leaves! SO GOOD!! Go support this up and coming business!
Salty Pearl has the best bartenders! We stopped by here after a long hot walk on the beach and they kept us comfortable by keeping the ice waters coming. Nice selection of local craft beer and it was cold. Tasty frozen cocktails for a hot day and dole whip or vanilla soft serve floats for the kids. Davy Jones Locker and Calypso cocktail were some favorite drinks in the group. Bartenders had good info about the area which we appreciated since we are from out of town. Nice seating area right by the water by the marina.
These guys are so nice that we disnt have to travel off the pointe for a fun bar. Love Amelia and jake the owner is amazing family owned. Drinks responsible priced. We will be back.
